Let's hold ourselves accountable with good eating. Our very supportive diva, Cookie on the BAF ,board does this post almost daily but with a different title. It is tell the truth what did you eat yesterday? Today I will eat: Wakeup- coffee w/sugar free french vanilla cream,Caribbean cooler protein drink Breakfast- whole wheat toast 50 calorie w/1 T of peanut butter Lunch- spinach salad w/dried cherries,walnuts,feta cheese,balsamic dressing Dinner- grilled turkey cutlets w/onions and green peppers Snacks- carrots/plum I will take all of my vitamins and drink 64+ of water.

Breakfast :  Acheive One - Hazelnut - ( Used to take my Vitamins With)  Kroger Apple Pie Yogurt - Vanilla Bean Granola  Half - English Muffin with Goat Cheese and Honey drizzle  .. Yummmo  Lunch  Salad - Sandwich - toasted on WHOLE WHEAT or Pita or No bread at all .. use Lettuce as wrap . Turkey or Tuna Salad ... Grilled Asparagus or Grilled Zuccini ( Takes place of french fries .. OMG so good )  Dinner  Fish or Chicken or some sort of Dense Protein  Tomatoe and Cucumber Salad ( Tomatoes , Goat Cheese or Gyure mixed with Blue Cheese Dressing or wht ever dressing you like ... ) I do not use anything fat free .. has too much sugar in it .. stick with the real stuff .. just do not go overboard Baked Sweet Potatoe ( Less carbs than other potatoes )  Grilled Veggies of some sort ...  I do 2 Achieve Ones a day .. One Carribean Cooler  Almonds to snack on  Late night snacks - Pop Corn .. Dark Pretzels - No sugar added Ice Cream

Thanks for replying, I need the support so that I can continue to remain focused. I will post my menu on the fridge daily just as a reminder. I am obsessed about going into a grocery store daily buying food, that will be eliminated too.  I was thinking this morning that I will not be jealous of a person's success with their weight loss because I too can and will be successful. Okay I will add mine: I am not much of a cook or adventurous with my cooking - never have time to be SO: for today  morning vitamins Protein tube just before Breakfast - two slices of turkey bacon on 1/2 lite multigrain muffin sprinked with cheese and microwaved until the cheese melts - yummy and fillng snack - 1/2 slim jim meat stick Protein tube just before Lunch - some salmon mixed with mayo ( made with salmon left over from last night), tomato, cucumber and lettuce salad with small amount of balasmic dressing, maybe a pear if still feeling hungry snack 1/2 banana after the gym - or maybe a protein bar if hungry and if I had a heavy workout Protein tube just before Dinner - grilled chicken thigh and steamed veg snack before bed  - sf caramel pudding - 60 calories) topped with whipped cream or whipped cream and cone - virtually no carbs or sugar and about about 60 calories Yesterday I had: Protein tube just before Breakfast - cottage cheese (2%milk) and strawberry yohurt (Lite and fit kind) mixed with some blueberries snack - protein bar Protein tube just before lunch - grilled tuna and salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and chives) with pecan vinigarette dressing) , some strawberries snack - beef jerky Protein tube just before Dinner - grilled salmon cooked with a little Asian dressing on the top, steamed veg, whipped cream and cone Snack before bed - two miniture sugar free Reese peanut butter cups (50 cals) Plus in between all of this I drink my water and other liquids

Thanks Jackie for responding. You know everytime that you have your support meetings I'm away. I will be away again this month for the 3rd and 4th week in July. Hopefully August will work for me. Raven

Well here is my menu for the day.  I am pmsing so the carbs may seem a bit harsh and I seem to be hungrier so I am snacking some.  Happens every month unfortunately. breakfast will be 4 oz Dannon light & fit yogurt, 1/2 multigrain light english muffin toasted with peanut butter, and a small banana. lunch will be a ham, cheese & tomato sandwich on whole grain white bread (I really like the Blue Ribbon brand, the bread isn't dry, the slices and smaller, and it isn't as heavy as wheat bread), a few multigrain Sun Chips & a small banana. dinner will be leftovers from last night, steak, a little bit of mashed potatoes, and some grilled seasonal veggies. Might throw in a popcorn snack, string cheese, or protein bar in there once or twice today.

OOh. no!  Reading this post and replies was like watching the Food Network channel for someone only 10 days post-op.  My yummy meals for today are:  Breakfast - Vitamins + 8 oz ProComplex Vaniila protein shake (55 g protein) made with Crystal Light Sunrise Orange and  1 tsp NF/SF yogurt to wash down crushed medicine tablet. Snack - 8 ox V-8 juice (1 g protein) Lunch - 8 oz chicken broth  Snack - 1 oz NF/SF yogurt (1 g protein) Dinner - 8 oz ProComplex Chocolate shake (55 g protein) made with water (tried skim milk yesterday and it didn't set well) Snack - 1 oz NF/SF yogurt (1 g protein) Plus 6 glasses of water!

My menu for today may seem weird to some, but I was at work for almost 13 hours. And it is really hard to find time to sit down and eat a regular meal. So I eat mini meals through out the day. Breakfast- 1/2 protein bar coffee w/ creamer Snack- 1/2 protein bar coffee w/ creamer Lunch- 2 slices cheddar cheese ( about 1inch squares) 4 slices pepperoni 4 ritz crackers Snack- ( over the course of 2 hours) 1 bottle Achive One coffee drink vanilla nut 6 peanut butter crackers (small nab size) Dinner 2 slices cheddar cheese (about 1" squares) 2 slices swiss cheese (deli size) some white seedless grapes ( maybe about 1/2 cup) I did not drink much water today.... As usual. I usually get in only about 20 oz of water or water drinks. I really need to work on my daily intake... of carbs and water. Tootles Cath

OK my days intake were: Breakfast:  Sausage patty  1pc Toast hot decf tea Lunch: Salad w/ lil ham beets egg cheese onion w/ lil dressing  small amount of cottege cheese Broc/chedder soup  (not all) Had leftover Unsweet Tea Dinner: Grilled steak Toss salad (very lil) 2.5 bottles of water  ate more of the meat
