Am Going to Need Some Major Nip and Tuck!
Good Morning All...Going right to the experts again for yalls advice. I am about 8 1/2 months out and have lost 135 pounds. I am hoping to lose about 85 more (just my personal goal). I am already sagging and bagging everywhere. In the perfect world, I would like to have a tummy tuck, my arms done, and my thighs. Does any one have any experience with the Commonwealth of Virginia employees insurance (Anthem) covering any of this. They were great covering the surgery...but I figured plastics would be another story. Anything I should know??
Thanks, as always!!

Hey Char! Congrats on your success so far. I too am a state employee, haven't gotten to the plastic part with the state employee insurance yet (not sure if I will). Know a few who have tried but were denied. They are going to look at appealing but haven't gotten far with it yet. Not sure that this helps you any. You may also want to try the plastics forum, and the insurance forum here on OH to get more info.
First, congradulations on your weight loss. As far as insurance paying, don't count on it. I am also a State of Virginia employee, I have wonderful insurance and it paid for my Gastric Bypass. I have just had a breast lift and reduction/ bilateral arm lift all to the tune of 12,000 out of pocket.
Good luck,
