Here it is Saturday morning, and I am just sitting here at the house. I have cleaned everything I can possibly clean lol. I am just scared that if my life is boring now it will be just as boring after. :( Hubby works in the evening while I work days so I hardly get to see him and when I do all we end up doing is cleaning or grocery shopping. I know it sounds like I am whining, but I just needed to vent a little. I still am in the pre op journey and hope to have the surgery by Christmas and some days are just tougher to get through then others. So everyone out there enjoy your day and have fun for me!

Hi Karen, I'm sorry you are a bit down this am and we've all had our moments. Its ok to vent and I'm glad I can be here to be of support and encouragement. Some days will be tougher than others but we have much to be thankful for. Life is boring now and then so we gotta shake things up a bit. I will pray that things get easier and that your journey progresses rather quickly and you and your hubs get more time together. Talk a walk, journal some, read something inspirational, call a friend you've not spoken to in a while or pray. Thanks for the well wish of an enjoyable day. I will pray the same for you.

Hi Karen I am sorry you are feeling down this morning.  Look up though, because once you have your surgery, your hubby will see how much more energy you have and it will be a rewarding experience for you both.  There are days that I and hubby just sit around and do nothing, like today in fact.  And it's okay to do nothing once in a while.  We have made it a point to at least do something fun once a week.  To make time seems impossible at times, but we have to do it for us.  I know it feels like an eternity waiting on your surgery date to finally get here, but it will happen when you least expect it.  Look up sweetie, there are brighter days ahead for you.  Come here anytime you need support, you will certainly get it. hugs

Hey Karen,  Life is what you make it. Pre-op or post-op. Some days I feel like I just want to stay in bed and do absolutely nothing, and some days I seem to keep going and going like the energizer bunny. Keep you chin up, time will fly by and before you know it your surgery date will be here. You will wonder where the time went. Find a good summer time book to read or go to your local craft store and find a new hobby to try out. Buy a new fancy pen and a really cool Journal and start your weight loss journey journal. Take your measurements, take photos of yourself and document your feelings along with the things that I mentioned and you will be glad that you did. I did not start my journal until about 3 months post op and I really wish that I would have started it pre-op. Its ok to vent, this is the place to do it. That is what we are here for.... Vent on sister!!! Cath

Hey friend things will get better I promise. Like already said we make our life so we need to find you a hobby something you can enjoy until surgery. I know your already going to the gym is there other activites there you might like to get into? Go to Michaels and look around there are alot of crafty things to get involved with, volunteer work at the hospital or nursing homes, check the papers for people who want to pay people to drive them places or run errans for them buying grocerys that sort of thing. Im sure maybe others will give you some ideas, or you can always call me when your bored or lonley. Im here for you and will help in any way I can Hugssss.
