UVA called about an hour ago, letting me know I have to be there at 6 am. They gave me the first surgery of the morning. I guess that means that in about 14 hours, I will be banded, and the real journey will start!

I will be looking forward to your visit Melinda (and Karen, if you make it before I am discharged Tuesday). Talk to you guys again from the losers bench!!!

Yay for you!!! I was first up in the morning too. So I asked my surgeon and anethesiaologist (sp?) if they had a good night night's sleep and were in a good mood.

Got a place all picked out for you on the bench--
