New And Finally Have A Date

Hi, I've been reading OH forums for years now in hopes that someday I would be able to be in one of your shoes :) Finally have a surgery date after two years of battling with Medicare.. and the messed up thing is I decided to finance the whole surgery heh. I just moved to VA last year and am scared to deal with new doctors and such but you have to do what you have to do. I am 27 years old and was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2001, so I NEED this surgery. I hope that it will help my arthritis situation. Naturally I know that my RA will not go away but I hope when some of the weight is lifted, some of the pain will subside. I really love this site, I feel that having support from people who understand what you're going through is important :) I look forward to making life long friends here and learning a whole bunch!

Congrats on your surgery date! Good for you to keep pursuing with Medicare to get what you need.
