Sat. FFP Meet & Greet UPDATED!!!!!! MONDAY

Just wanna say thanks to everyone who came to our meet @ Pano's in Harrisonburg yesterday, I have sent you guys that were there pictures to your emails, If Ive forgotten anyone please email me at my regular email ([email protected]) and I will send to you But I think I got everyone. maginachange and Donna thanks for coming and Congrats to you for your approval and for your upcoming trip and surgery we are all here for you girls including those who havent been approved we are here for everyone so please dont feel we arent. This is what I started the FFP group for support for those who wanted the support before after and during your journeys so ask we are there and will help in any way we can, I enjoyed seeing you all and we will be posting the next meet soon. Hugs.....   UPDATE: I wanted to take this time to add I spent alot of time getting us the protein samples so I hope you all enjoy and use them, also when ordering plese use our NEW FFP-VA and if you dont use the samples please bring to the next meet and give to those who are using they are very expensive when buying but these where givinen to us as our group and  I spent alot of time emailing these companys Thanks  to Natalie for telling me what to do. I hope in the future we will be able to get other samples so let me know feed back. Also the FFP newsletter there is a place there for feedback for you guys to post please do so ideas and things nobody posting there Id like to see you guys going there and making notes and things (please). Also I want to put together a Phone a friend type chain (not sure what to call it) But Myself an Joann are on the list  if you need to call someone for questions , chat , cry , scream, whatever it maybe we are here for you, anyone in the group who wants on the band wagon give me a email Im gonna post this on the FFP- newsletter so if you dont want to be bothered DONT give your # and complain later we need peopl ewho are going to be supportive and help others This is the whole purpose for the group helping others get through the rough times of OUR JOURNEYS!!!!! So let me know This will also be posted if ok'ed w/ Dr Schirmer And Dr Northrup's office here @ UVA so be sure this is what you want to do. ok Im done now lol Hugs...... 

Thanks again to Melinda for getting doing her usual great job in pulling us together. I always enjoy it. McKenzie also had a great time. You guys always make her feel so welcome.  What a relief to finally get rid of all my clothes. It was like putting that period in my life behind me.   Joann, I have thought about you all day today. I hope you are able to get to talk to the doctor tomorrow. I could see how much anxiety you were feeling. Please keep us posted. It's obvious you are having a reaction to medication. They NEED to address this issue. Melinda, I will be praying for you on your big day, Friday. I leave to go on vacation on Friday, but will check the board if I have internet access. Hope everyone had a calm, tranquil Sunday. I sat outside and enjoyed the gentle rain this evening and thanked God for every drop that fell. Love to all, Jennifer

Hey, Jennifer!  Thanks so much for your kindness and concern.  Today has been a little easier, since I haven't talked much..I know.........odd for me!  I will be calling docs tomorrow morning.  I think I'll start with my PCP........then Neurologist.............surgeon...............Pain Mgmt...............whoever until I get some answers and help. I hope you and your family have a great vacation!

Thanks Jennifer for everything  but I have surgery on Wed. so say a prayer a little earlier by Friday Ill be home and will need prayer then to but Ill be home and you guys have a safe trip hugs....

Sorry I missed you guys! It was the week from Hades, and since my car died last week Chris and I were car shopping all weekend. Boy, am I sad I missed out on the rest of Jennifer's clothes! LOL. I got some great clothes last time; one dress of which I am wearing to a wedding soon. Hopefully I will be able to make it to the next meeting.

I was still in a bit of pain to come. But, I definitely want to start attending, and will have loads of clothes to give away! :D Hopefully, if I lose enough weight anyway. LOL.... When will the next be?

Well sweetie thats very understandable and you are welcome to come when you are able to attend. I will be announcing the next meet sometime next week most likley Im gonna play it by ear after my surgery it will be just a quick choice and most likley the end of Sept. Either the last 2 Sat.s of the month. But will give final detail later. Hope you are doing well and feeling better soon.

I, too, had planned on attending the meet & greet but alas, was not feeling very well all week.  Spent 6 hours in the ER last week saturday, but that's a whole other story. Anyways, it sounds like ya'll had a good time.  For all those not feeling so good, I hope ya get to feeling better soon.  Prissy, good luck with your surgery...we'll be thinking of you & sending prayers your way. Hopefully I'll be in on the next meet & have clothes to share as well.  I'm nothing if not optimistic...lol.
