Bowel Prep - OMG

That is the nastiest stuff i've ever had to drink!!!!!! Thank God I'm done with it, now to keep pushing fluids and broth!!! I'm telling ya I don't know how i've managed to get this far with no food.... just another day and a half and i'm there!!!! My bestfriend Amy is keeping the kids for us tomorrow night so we can be well rested(yeah right like i'm gonna be able to sleep) and leave for the hospital, as far as I know i'll have to be there at 530am.... So here's to one more day of fluids and then a life time of healthy living!!! Hope you all have had a great weekend!!! Missy

Good luck with your surgery. Remember to take it easy - follow the doctor's orders, walk and drink! You will never regret this decision. I thank God every day I chose this journey.

I agree with ya on the bowl prep. They couldn't make it taste any worse. But it works. And finally the time has come to start your new life. God bless you and those who will be taking care of you at the hospital.

Oh you poor thing.. that is some nasty stuff. I can remember it like it was yesterday! Take a stack of magazines and a good book to the bathroom and plan on staying there a while.... I also had some diaper rash cream to sooth the pain away, if you know what I mean... Good luck and God bless~. Cath

Hi Missy! Im new here. I see you are from Langley. Its nice to see a local here. I live in Hampton. My husband just seperated from the Navy.  I went to the first class at Portsmouth on August 17th and met Dr. Mann. Im # 692! what # are you? They have been at 567 all week!!

Wow! One more day! Best wishes for an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery! So was your wait 6 months for the surgery? 6 months would put me at february but since my husband just seperated from the Navy we should qualify for TAMPS and extend coverage to mid January so I dont think I can stay Prime to go to Portsmouth unless they get real quick about it and get me in by January...doubt it!! So I'll probably have to go standard and go to Sentara Careplex. I go to their seminar Sept. 4th. They said their wait can be 3 weeks to 3 months.  so we will see!!! I knew you could make it through.  Just a little bit left.  I didn't have to do the bowel prep so I can't say I know what you feel but it is worth it.  Keep up the strength & good work.

I chased my phososoda with apple juice. It worked at the time but I still, to this day cannot drink apple juice. I'm reminded of that nasty taste!!
