I don't think so.....spagetti O's are high calorie carbs and probably not very nutritious....you may have to become a soup convert.....maybe try making your own chicken soup.....just used tinned broth and really cook the veggies and put the chicken in a food processor if you have one.  I also used to make a bean soup that was really simple and delicious...lots of protein there too!  Let me know if you would like it.  I know that not all surgeons give post-op diet instruction but you really want to hit the right proteins first, and your water as soon as you can.  Proteins are what you need to heal and will provide the right setting for maximum weight loss.  I was not supposed to have carbs until I had lost 75% of my total weight loss....to give you an idea.....all the best.....:)  Cheers!  Gail

I don't know.  It might be a bit thick.  But if you add some milk or something to thin it, maybe... As for nutrition, I'm not sure it's all that bad.

I think its too soon for spaghetti O's..you just had surgery on the 6th. Your new tummy needs to heal, I know the liquid part is hard, please dont give into your craving it will pass, just a few more days on liquids and you can move to other stuff.
Gail is correct its full of carbs, we need to stay away from those "bad carbs" early on.

I agree with Gail. While they are low fat, they're HIGH in carbs (carbs=sugar). You're just going to have to learn to like soups. Is it because you don't like hot soups? If so, you can find some GREAT recipes for cold soups.  I love chilled cucumber soup, and I tasted a delicious tomato bisque. Yum! http://www.goodhousekeeping.com/recipefinder/recipe/Chilled_Cucumber_Soup/rf/1801?magazine=goodhousekeeping

Seriously, when you look at serving sizes between this and tomato soup, the soup's carb count is actually HIGHER, and tomato soup is allowed, is it not?  The spaghetto's also have more nutrients.  BUT I would still be concerned about consistency.  They want you to eat very thin, soupy stuff because your tummy can't process anything too thick.  This might better be saved for closer to the puree stage.

High Carbs Jennifer.....just say no! :-) I bought egg drop soup from my fav. chinese restaurant and drank it everyday for a week. (never did eat the eggs just the broth I strained out the eggs.) it was very tasty .  Good luck...not much longer.  You may think you can handle it now, but your tummy may not. Jeni
