I feel pretty good today. I'm getting my protein now since I got some new stuff and my energy levels are better. I haven't heard back from Susan yet so I'll let you know when I do.  I ate the pork last Sunday so I think if I had a leak and were septic I would have no doubt by now. I'm really depressed since I miss the way things used to be, like having dinner with my family and being so worried about my health.  I know it will get better but all I want to do is lay around and cry. I'm losing weight rapidly and it's kinda freaking me out since that's never happened to me before so I guess I keep thinking I'm dying. I'm a mess right now but I'll get through it. Thank you for caring so much, you are one of the sweetest people I know. I wouldn't have made it without you in Mexico.

You helped me out too, being there, checking on me, kidding around with each other...  You have such a fun and outrageous spirit and I just love you!  I think you're right about knowing if you're septic but let me know what Susan says. How many grams of protein are you getting? Remember 70 is the mark. You'll have more energy when you're getting it all in.  Are you sitting down for dinner with your family? You can sip whatever you're tolerating right now, but spend that time with them. That may be part of what you're missing.  Call me and we can go over the list of all the full liquids you can be trying. There is unflavored that you can mix in with broth or pudding, etc. I know it's limited but it's just for a little while longer. Will it help to cound down the days to soft food?  PM me with your home phone number, I'm dying to talk to you and your cell phone is going straight to the message.  Keep your spirits up girl,  LOVE YOU! Hi sweetie! This liquid diet stinks huh? Im just 4 days ahead of you and I also used Dr A. He is out of town right now---but Im sure that you have that figured out by now. I also am SOOO READY to eat something! LOL! Its not so much that Im hungry--although I do get that acidy feeling and to me that feels like hunger. I just really am sick of liquids! I am craving eggs and cheese! Ha!  Just wanted to let you know 2 things--Dr A gave you his personal cell phone number that he will answer day or night. Use it! Dont be afraid to bug him. He needs to know whats going on and he is the best person to ask. And the other thing--I also felt that same pain on my left side--just under my breast and in my sleeve area. I felt it for days after I picked up my 36lb todder. NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT! Haha! Dr A told me thats not my sleeve so no freaking out about it! That achiness went away a few days ago--it lasted a while! It came and went during that time, but any time I overdid it, it got really bad. So no worries! Rest up for the next few days and use a heating pad on the sore areas. That was Dr A's advice to me and it helped a lot,  And one more thing! You arent the only one who cheats! I cheated for the first time yesterday! I was making my kids peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and I took a small baby spoon and licked off a spoonful of the peanut butter--CHUNKY peanut butter! YUMMMM! It was soooo good. The nutty part I chewed and chewed, but it still all got stuck in my chest. I felt AWFUL! I got the shakes and really weak and had diraheah. I will NOT sneak peanut butter again! LOL! So you arent alone--we all stumble! (((BIG HUGS!)))

Thank You all so much for you advice and concern. I'm doing very well. I have developed an ulcer in my new baby pouch and that was what was giving me so much trouble. It was probably from eating the meat and then the rush of stomach acid to begin digestion was just too much for the new pouch and I also have a history of ulcers. I'm taking Zantac 150 2 times a day and Maalox as needed. Thanks again to everyone. I don't think I could have made it through this without the support of the OH community. Leigh Ann
