How Many Oreos Can You Eat???

You guys have made me very happy. :) :) The problem with the Band is/was that you could be super tight/restricted... so that you could barely eat anything remotely healthy.  BUT, somehow... potato chips, cookies, candy, etc. would all pass magickly through your Band with no problem.    So...for me... I got to be so malnourished from eating so little (couldn't eat most solid protein, fruit, veggies, salad, rice, potatoes, pasta)... that my body would take any form of calories it could.  I still lost 95 pounds... but it was not a healthy way to do it.

I could possibly eat two but I think I would be uncomfortably full.

I can answer this from my experience lately....I can eat 2 oreos and I am satisfied!

Sami.................i haven't tried oreos....they are a personal favorite pre-op, no desire since.....that sick tummy feeling here too. However, I did eat 3 skinny cow icecream sandwiches today.....I am still feeling sick and having a rough time. Not really sure why I ate them....stressed i think. but gotta tell ya, normally half-one filles me to a sick feeling. sigh.........somethings dont change. jeni

Hey I love Skinny Cow ice cream too well I love any type of lower sugar, sugar free, lite ice cream.  Blue Bunny and Klondike have delicious SF ice milk lite ice cream stuff. Sorry about your sick tummy.  I know just what you mean about somethings not changing.  We do though - really.  It is just easy to fall right into what soothes and comforts us - what is familiar.  We have a few bad moments and then we move on. Hope things get better! Leila

Let me tell ya', you won't be eatin' that many oreos without spewing!   Or else it would take you, like, all day to do it.  Not likely to be something you'd just sit down and do absent-mindedly.  By about the third or fourth one you'd be feeling it.

Hmmmm......i don't remember eating Oreos since surgery over a year ago!!! I can eat (1)little packet of South Beach Diet Peanut Butter cookies......and there are two cookies in there. That satisfies me but I bet I could eat at least one more cookie from a second pack. So I'm just guessing here that I could eat 3 oreos.........

I feel sick at the thought when I was pre-op...........Double Stuff oreos..........dipped in milk, lots and lots of them. Or better yet........those mini oreos poured into milk and eaten with a spoon. Oh gawsh.....i'm getting ill just thinking about it..............blech!!!

I can eat 3 comfortably but if I eat 4 I feel sick for about 45 minutes.......I only did this 2 times about 6 months ago and I was done with oreos.  Just the thought of it hurts my belly

I can eat about 1/2 pack of the 100 calorie packs. Probably 2 big ones. Carla

I haven't tried it but I am sure I could eat 4-5 in one sitting and then I would be full.  When those damm Girl Scout cookies came around I found myself sneaking one or two several times a day. For some of us (who can eat anything) I have to be really careful and really choose what I eat wisely but no matter what it is, I can never eat more than 4 oz of anything at one time. (one time meaning a 15 minute period)
