Go to tickerfactory.com and follow the directions to make your ticker.  Then right click the picture of the ticker (not the computer code you see below it) and 'copy'.  Then come back to OH and under 'User Settings' paste the ticker you just copied in to your signature line.  Wa-la!  You're officially a loser =D.
At or below goal since 5/08....without mal-absorption!

Hi,

Its still all liquids. I had no problem with liquids. I could eat almost half a packet of cream of wheat with a whole glass of milk. Sounds normal to me.

Well, there may be something wrong with you (lol), but not the eating! I have not had any problems either -- and I am counting my blessings! I have not had my tummy tell me to stop yet, which is interesting. Without hunger pangs, it is hard to tell when you are full! That, I guess, is why it is good to measure.

Tonight I ate a full serving of cream of wheat. Probably too much, maybe, but it did not hurt, I ate it slowly, and no problems. My calorie count is still okay, so I am not going to worry about it!

I would not worry about it until you get to solid food. If you can eat a whole 12 ounce steak at a sitting, THEN you can worry! LOL

You are doing great. :) Hang in there!

Oh -- when you do your ticker, be sure to put in a 'pin' code, and bookmark the site you have to go to in order to update it. I did not bookmark the site yesterday, and had to redo my ticker to change it today! But now I can just pop over to the bookmarked page and change it. :)

The others are right. It becomes a whole new ball game when you switch to purees and solids. I never had a problem with full liquids. I could eat quite a bit. But once I switched to real food.... yikes.. When you make that switch, assume that your eyes are wayyyyy bigger than your stomach.

Mate what you are having now are basically still liquids, and it is great you are having no problems, neither did I.  When you move to purees and soft foods things change a bit.  I had no problem until I got to soft foods, over did it with some mashed potatoe the first time and was that a shock......never thought throwing up would be such a relief.  When you move to solid proteins like meat and chicken your whole capacity changes and it can change daily for some reason.

Just be thankful you are doing so well.
