I went into the ER SUNDAY NIGHT after being in severe pain all saturday to find out I had a nice gall stone chilling in there, and my bilirubin levels were elevated .... soooooooooooo

tuesday... THEY took it out. Ya know I've had a lot of stomach surgerys... but NEVER has anyone hurt like this... omg I am in soooooooooooo much pain still...

 waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

I am taking my meds in fact they had to call in something stronger cause I wasn't sleeping at all and couldn't heal.

Thank god the hubby was  put on emergency leave to help around the house.  congrats to the USMC for doing something correct... lol

Hi MotoMommy,

I'm sorry you're in pain.  It will go away quickly.  I had mine out in November and wanted to just lay around watching movies for 4 or 5 days.

I have a question for you.  I'm having the VSG this month.  Do you think the GB removal is more painful than the VSG?

Curious minds....
Thanks!

I am going to be 100% honest here....

this CRAP hurts 3 times worse than any surgery i've ever had.  The doc said that the reason I am in so much more pain than other is cause I had a lot of scar tissue build up, so it took a little  longer for the surgery.

& I've had 2 c-sections, the vsg, appendix, and exploratory laproscopic surgery.

My surgeon ordered me to SIT for at least a week... and mariek knows me ... so she knows that this isn't possible... so thats why my hubby is home with me for 2 weeks. Next week is when i am allowed to start doing things again. I am not fully helpless its just the pain meds they have me on, basically keep me awake for about 2 hours a day. I am sleeping every other chance I get.

Thank you for being honest.  I'm so sorry for your pain.  I guess I didn't have any scar tissue in there.  I hope that my Sleeve doctor doesn't encounter any when he goes in there.  I don't know how long it takes scar tissue to form.

Feel better and sleep sleep sleep!
