I had crm of potato, crm of mushroom, crm of chicken, and crm of broccoli.  I used the condensed soups, added extra water or milk,  and used the blender to break down any chunks in the soup, then used a strainer just to be certain that all I would get would be liquid.
I did not add any frozen fruit to my protein shakes, however I was instructed to add a banana to them each day, because my potassium level was dangerously low after surgery.  Ordinarily this would not have been allowed by my doctor.
I'm now on the pureed stage...amazed at how little I can eat before I'm full!

Tomato soup never tasted as heavenly to me as during my first two weeks out.  Plop a spoonful of plain Greek yogurt in there and it's divine.

And yes, you can put frozen fruit into your shake!  You'll want to watch the carbs and calories though, the more "stuff" you put into it.

I was on a full liquid diet for two weeks and I have cream of mushroom and chicken and broccoli soups. I do put a bit of cheese in them to help up my protein as well.

I couldn't have any veggies or fruit unless it was blended and thinned...well so I guess putting it in your protein shake would count! hehe

Good luck hun!!

I'm in "full liquid" diet stage right now too, and am loving butternut squash, carrot & coriander, and tomato soups. I also made a big pot today of asst. green vegetables, cooked in chicken broth and pureed - it's kind of swamp green and horrible looking but tastes great and I am happy to be getting a small amount of veg in during this stage.

I'm on full liquids as well.  My very favorite meal is Trader Joe's Organic Creamy Tomato Soup.  I've not tried it with Greek Yogurt but love the suggestion.  I may try that for dinner tonight!

Also, Trader Joe's now has a box of 12 Savory Chicken Flavor Concentrate pouches.  Add a pouch to a cup of ho****er.  It's reduced sodium so still tastes pretty darn good.

3 days out and your surgeon is allowing cream soups?  WOW!   I'm 2 1/2 weeks out and still on Clear Liquids Only with Protein Shakes, but he did say this week I could add Egg Drop Soup.  Next week I advance to Full Liquids for another 2 weeks.  He's very strict and conservative, obviously!

Man, I can't wait to have some cream soups, that tomato with greek yogurt and the butternut squash sound heavenly!!

Egg drop soup, but not full liquids?   Hmmm.   My surgeon has everyone on full liquids from the time they go home from the hospital.
