Suggestions for how to eat hummus?
I'm about a month post op now and have been on mushies for a little over a week. I was curious if you guys had any tips for how to eat hummus dip that doesn't involve bread, crackers, etc? I haven't really tried anything all that carby and don't want to, but I have some hummus and am wondering how I could eat it. I've thought about making parmesan cheese crackers or something....any other ideas?
Hummus .. Yum my fav! I grill chicken breast ... shred it and use it to dip me some yummy hummus!
Sorry I didn't read your post fully. But I will say a spoon may just be your best option.

It's yummy with cucumber slices! And cherry tomatoes, and carrot sticks! (well these aren't mushies though) Maybe some really well steamed broccoli or cauliflower and let it cool in the fridge for a bit then dip them in the hummus? Hummus and cucumber slices are gonna be a staple for me once I get to eat cucumber slices, that is

Also I spice mine up with jalepeno, and cilantro ( like at TJ's but cheaper!) I would also add a pinch of salt to boost the flavors! Can you tell I watch the "food network" too much!!
