Basically the liquid diet just sucks and the first 3-4 days are the worst.  Tough it out, keep your eyes on your goals and stay strong.  You can do it.

You would need to strain it.

I am on the 2-week liquid diet preparing for surgery on Feb 16.  I like the cream soups (mushroom, celery, chicken, etc.).  This time of year a hot soup hits the spot.  I have half a can at lunch and another at dinner.  Still hve protein drinks 3 times a day.

It sounds like you are post-op.  Congratulations!!

Are all the TJ soups high in protein? Do they come in cans and are they all creamed? At the last support group meeting,I asked if anyone had heard of high protein soups, one lady said she had some high protein chicken soup. She said it was really good. Anyone know the brand?
I don't know if it would just be cheaper to buy the unflavored protein powder and stir it into regular blended soup.
