WOW, thank you so much for your post!! My surgery is next Tuesday, and I can only pray that my results are similar! I am 30 years old and I feel more like im 50 right now. One of the main reasons I am doing this surgery is the hope that my energy will improve( I sleep more than 8 hrs and wake up tired and fatigued) No sleep apnea as far as I know...
Well, I hope to be on here posting my own positive results within the next few weeks.
Thank you again for your inpiring post!

I am only 10 days post op and my husband says my attitude has changed completely. He is thrilled. haha. I thought maybe it was because I felt impowered I was able to do something something for my self that will change my life for the better in every aspect.

I also feel this dramatic change. It really is incredible! Is this how skinny people feel? I feel as if when my stomach was removed the surgeon also hit the 'reset' button on my brain to give me another chance.

Wow! I can totally feel how uplifted you are with what you said. I think my surgery is in about 6 weeks and I hope hope hope I feel the same way that you are feeling now.  Like you, I am ALWAYS tired, upset stomach, depressed and an overall hopeless feeling.

Best of luck to you and keep sharing!!

I havent had surgery yet, but I would say "skinny" people dont feel this way.  Its the old addage " You dont know what you have till you lose it".. I think this surgery provides us with HOPE and a second chance.  Congratulations!

ya know, i felt like this too pretty quickly after surgery and was surprised as i was 58 years old and expected to feel crummy for a long time. i feel bad for people who feel lousy for several weeks. i immediately knew it was the right thing. after a good nights sleep at home felt better than i had in ages. and it will just get better and better.
thanks for sharing this experience. some have it tougher than others but eventually everyone who follows program gets to where you are. congrats. i would tell you that you are gonna love your sleeve but you already do! d
