lip numbness/tingling anyone else?
Your PCP should be fine. I'll be honest, I never got that in the past except when I ate something I didn't realize I was allergic to (shellfish). I had the lip numbness and tingling one night and then, finally, later got huge welts. Apparently, it's an allergy that builds up over time but I should have paid attention to the tingling and numbness in my lip when it was happening. When I thought back about it, I realized I had that sensation for awhile with shellfish. So.... It COULD possibly be something you ate as well but I would definitely check with my PCP.
Being hypocalcemic myself for the past 14 years, I know that's an indication that my calcium level is low....tingling around my mouth, hands and spasms on my feet...verrrry painful. However, just like the PP said, it could also be an allergic reaction to something. But be sure you check with your PCP so they can draw labs.
Good luck!

I had tingling/numbness in my lips, hands, and feet similar to what you describe.
I was not drinking enough water (actually blood pressure meds had diuretic in them, so it was drying me out) and had low potassium. I started drinking more water, stopped the BP meds, and added a potassium tablet to my vitamin rotation.
