Is low-carb tortilla pizza that bad for lunch or dinner?

I don't want to fall down to bad old habits, but I made a yummi pizza today for lunch made of 1/2 low-carn Mission tortilla, 2 oz shredded mozzarella and a bit of tomato basil sauce. according to myfitnesspal.com, it has 130 calories, 9 carbs, 7 fat, 10 protein, 24 calcium etc...

I mean, it is still pizza, but is it THAT bad? it did NOT give me the carb-munchies as crackers did the other day.

should I allow myself to have this a few times a week? I am documenting everything I eat, do not go over 800 cals and get my 70 gr protein everyday. is it a really bad food choice?

My nutritionist said that it was fine!  It does not start any of my cravings up either!  I don't make it very often though.  I consider it a treat for me.

Absolutely nothing wrong with it as long as you are getting in your minimum daily protein requirements.  I enjoy it with a little salami & feta.

Current weight: 170 lbs.

Once I reach goal, this cow will be killed & eaten... 2 ounces at a time.

Total includes 56 lbs. lost on 2-month low carb pre-op diet.  Start date 9/13/10.

yum! you guys made me feel less guilty - thanks!

I mean, eating something that is pizza like has to make us feel guilty, right? I can't believe that regarding nutrients it is not bad after all.

I won't have it all the time, I should also consider it a treat, but it's good to hear from you that it's not that bad ;) and I am SO surprised it did not up my carb cravings... hmm love feta, perhaps I should think of additional healthy stuff to put on as well.

Mission low-carb rules indeed! btw, found it at Target which was great.

Check this out.....waaaayyyyy better taste than tortilla.

I have made some insane good pizza with this stuff !!!!

Sometimes I put a little toast on it before adding the sauce and toppings to get a little crunch factor.

oh frisco - I saw this post a while ago when browsing the forum, lol. I was on full liquids and drooled over it! I copied it then and had it saved on my computer hehe. but I am not sure where to find this Lavash Bread by Joseph's Bakery in NY, I think I tried to look it up then and could not find it. so when I saw the low-carb tortillas on target I grabbed it light speed fast! do you know where I can find it? or do you get it online?

oh I also toast the tortilla before the sauce, crunch is fundamental for pizza! ;)
