They changed the Premier protein shake formula & I don't like it

It's thicker & doesn't taste as good as it use to.  Why did they have to change it?? It was the only protein that tasted decent to me. Now open to suggestions for other good flavored whey isolate protein shakes. Thanks!

My fave has been Syntha 6 from GNC. They have a vanilla ice cream flavor that is awesome.

 I noticed my last case I had to shake - like it had separated a bit.  I thought it was just that case???

The chocolate is thicker, but I find the taste is the same.  Just add some water or skim milk to it - thins it right out.  The vanilla is thinner.  Don't know why they tinkered with the formula.

I don't like the thickness either but I think it pretty much tastes the same. I agree though. Why mess with a winner?

I wrote an email to Premier expressing my displeasure... I heard nothing back. I was hoping to get a response as a few people on here have received replies.

When I wrote them a few weeks ago complaining of the same thing........they responded to me within the hour. You might try again. They sent me two cases and they were fine. They also said the formula had not been changed and would forward the information to quality control.

A while ago I bought a case of chocolate from costco.  It was lumpy and very thick.  I returned to it to costco and got another one.  that one was fine.  then I emailed the company to explained to them what happened.  they were very responsive and sent me a case for free!  Their customer services is excellent (at least in my experience).  I wouldnt know about the formula for the chocolate being changed, though.  Since the came out with the vanilla, its all I buy.

Premier chocolate has been the only shake I liked for a year now.  The last case I got has been thick and when I put it in the freezer for a few minutes to make  it thicker, it  just gets sorta slimey and thick and icey all at the same time and  it  is YUCK.
I read someone's post the other day that they drink Atkins RTD dutch chocolate after freezing it a little and it's great.  I'll be trying that if I can find it.  There isn't as much protein.
Maybe I will try the  suggestion of adding some skim milk to the Premier first.
