OT: WTF I Thought It Was Spring!!!

Don't get me wrong I love living in North Dakota and should expect this, but when 90% of the snow is gone and a blizzard hits... it's really a spring buzz kill!! We've already gotten over edit: news just said we've gotten 10 inches and are expecting another 10 over night with high winds. The business I work at thinks they are opening at 10 AM tomorrow.. DREAM ON PEOPLE!! The roads have all been closed since about 5 PM.. and our city isn't really on the ball ever about cleaning streets!

The one thing I hate about being cooped up at home is it makes me want to eat horrible. That's what I did pre-op. I would've went to the grocery store got pizza, chips & dip and probably some ice cream and ate complete **** the whole time I was stuck at home.

Now... sticking to plan.. avoided the grocery store when work closed at 3 today.


I'm in a pretty protected area so it's hard to get pics of what it actually is like outside..



Earlier today there was snow out here...

LOL Sometime I hate the MIDWEST. I am in Fridley MN (suburb - north east of Minneapolis) and our snow was almost gone too.  It's snizzling now and they estimate about 4 -7 inches by tomorrow am.

If it makes you feel any better, I live in California and we're expecting another 3 feet in the next 2 days- yes- I am going stir crazy, too- where's the SUN??  Hang in there!

South of you in Sioux Falls,  but we are just getting the rain and FLOODING.  I do feel your pain and hope for warm sunny days very soon for you.  And I totally agree about the blizzard and food.  That was basically a full out license to eat everything and anything that was on the taboo list for me.  The ore the merrier.  I would cook up a storm and eat like a maniac.  Take Care and stay warm and on track.

I have family in Sioux Falls and I was super jealous when my cousin posted of facebook that it was 60 degrees!!!! 

 This winter is driving me frecking crazy it was the first day of spring in saskachewan and -19 C with the wind chill.We have tons of snow and  nothing melting .Its tough to stay positive about anything!!!

Well, its certainly spring in South Texas, high 80's here today and the air conditioning has been on in my home since last weekend!

Blame that fat-ass over-sized rat......Punxsutawney Phil! (ground hog)  We should BBQ his ass......I hear ground hog tastes like chicken!

 I like to take that lil' f%*#er and shove him back in hole... tell him he's worthless and then fill it w/ some cement!!!! 

I don't believe that cruelty to animals is right, but in the case I think I'd make an acception!!! 

I'm ready for summer....... I want to be at the lake! I mean I could go now if I wanted... and build a snowman I guess!! lol I want to wear sandals... I hate wearing actual shoes.... and I especially hate wearing socks!!! I want to save money on gas and not have to let my car run for 10-15 mins in the morning because it's soo damn cold out 10 seconds of exposure will freeze your face off!! 

Think I'm done whinning........ until i have to go shovel my car out possibly tomorrow for work.... 

aint midwest weather grand?? I live in St. Louis and it was 68 when I went to bed at 10 pm last night and it was 67 when I went to work @ 6:15 this morning. Tonight the temp. will drop from the high of around 72 down to 34...hello spring?!?!?
