So sorry to hear that you had complications. However, God knows what he is doing and your experience forced your mother to take care of herself. Like most mothers we will take care of our children and neglect our own aches and pains.

Prayers for both you and your mom. You will be feeling fine in no time and will be on your way to your dream body before you know it.

Cindi, I had a similar experience right after surgery. I had my surgery in Tijuana and told my surgeon that I couldn't keep anything down. He said that was normal. But when I got home I was still vomiting. I couldn't keep nothing down. As soon as I would try something it would be right back up. It didn't even get a chance to get to my stomach. I didn't feel nauseated or anything. I was very thirsty all of the time. By the fourth day of this I went to the ER and they admitted me and did a EGD. My Gastro physician said my surgery was fine but that my stomach was very inflammed which kept anything from staying down. Right after the EGD I started passing gas (which I didn't after surgery) and I started keeping liquids down. I went home two days later.

I have had a difficult time trying to keep certain foods down. Like, protein shakes and I also have a hard time at night with regurgitation to the point that I vomit.

I'd like to keep in touch with you to see how you are progressing. I am glad to hear you are feeling better and also that you mom is feeling better.

Kati
