Tangled

Have you seen the movie Tangled?  You should, even if you don't have kids, it is fabulous!  I cried because it was so sweet, such a great love story and story of growth.  I think it describes this sleeve journey pretty well!  Rapunzel's "mother"  has kept her safe and sheltered all these years but has kept her captive, away from the life she should be leading.  When she first steps out of the tower, there is a great scene where her emotions are all over the place, going from skipping joyously at her freedom to sobbing in a heap at the unknown and at betraying her "mother", back and forth several times.  Wow this is so my relationship with food and my feeling about getting sleeved on Monday!  Then- when she has finally embarked on her journey, and can see the finish line, Rapunzel says- "I've been dreaming of this for 18 years.  What if it's not everything I dreamed it would be? And what if it is?"  Her prince answers- "You get to find a new dream."  Beautiful!

I agree, this is a fabulous movie for everyone of all ages!  I saw it in the theatre in 3D and I bought the DVD/Blu-ray/3D Blu-ray/Digital copy edition and I don't even have a 3D player but someday I just might get to see it in 3D again! *Giggles*
