I'm going to eat pizza 7 days post op...what will happen?
I don't know if I can take this anymore........ I need a time out......
So here is my question.....if other people chimed in saying they at chicken wings, ribs, pork chops one week out and everything was fine..... would she have ate that pizza 7 days out?

You could puke, you could have food get stuck, you could puke and strain a healing staple line, you could experience pain, or nothing could happen for a few days, or nothing could happen at all.
You're 7 days out and all of a sudden you don't think having about 80% of your stomach removed is "working" what do you expect it to be doing?

Seriously, you are liquids.
Here's a quick anatomy lesson:
Liquid in, liquids out, they go in and they empty.
Your stomach nerves have been cut, burned and stapled off and you expect them to feel anything??? yeah, that's not going to happen.
Be realistic, drink your fluids, let your stomach heal, and follow the program. It's not that difficult of a concept.
You won't get any sympathy for being wreckless with a healing staple line. Drink protein to help with satiety, and staying hydrated will help.
If you're allowed full liquids, try cottage cheese, sugar free pudding, yogurt, ricotta cheese, diluted cream soups.
