Three months post-op (pics)

Hi! I'm 3 months post-op today and down 50 pounds. I feel so great! I have incorporated exercise in a big way into my life. I'm running 20 flights of stairs twice a day with a friend (so 2x400 stairs, plus 2x160 back down to my floor). I'm doing deep water aerobics twice a week and vinyasa yoga for 90 min once a week. On the rare occasion it's nice outside, a friend and I go for a brisk walk at lunch, too.

I have found my biggest obstacles (besides myself, haha!) are crunchy carbs and nighttime eating. These were my biggest challenges pre-op, too. I am working very hard to manage my urges to fall into these traps: I'm drinking a lot of fluids to keep myself too full to eat at night, and I'm trying to exercise myself into falling asleep quickly at night. ;)

So happy with my sleeve! I am just feeling really good about myself, my efforts, where I'm at and where I'm going. It is a very, very good time in my life. Here's a monthly progression of my weight loss (it should be edited for size, height, etc but I can't do it right now) and a pic from today.

Thanks Mellymay! We're down about the same - I lost 8 pounds on the 2-week liquid diet and 42 pounds since the morning of the surgery.

Thank you all very much for your kind words! Weight loss pictures are one of my favorite things on OH, so it's fun to be able to post my own, too. :)
