There was a memo I think someone threw mine away.  I am working on learning to DIVIDE food BEFORE eating.  Take my portion and package the rest.  Some call it PORTION CONTROL.  Hey Rome wasnt built in a day!

Hey Sleeve sister,

It is hard to believe that I had surgery 7 weeks ago, life is so much back to normal it's scary..I am down 42 lbs since surgery, and feeling pretty good, physically I shall say. Mentally, I am still struggling with the changes, not so much the food..but the loss of appetite, my tastes have changed so much, not being able to drink water the way I want, having to work hard to keep up with the nutritional values of everything to make sure I get in what I am supposed to...that stuff will take time to deal with..the most impt thing is I have no regrets at all...yesterday someone at work saw me for the first time since surgery and she was like omg, ...and I could tell she wasn't faking cuz you can say the words but the look on her face was definitely surprised...a little nsv for me I guess...just out of curiousity does anyone think about where they will be in a year from now, or year from your surgery date..

Yeah, I'm always wondering what the heck I'm going to look like! ...or what will I be eating in a year? Will I have to think about everything or will it all come second nature by then? Argggghhhh!

I will most likely be recovering from or getting ready for PLASTIC SURGERY...lol   I don't think life will be much different...except I'll be smaller in it and being more active.  I SHOULD be preparing for a wedding by then too.

woohoo february! you guys are all doing so good!

i'm losing pretty slow but if that means less hair loss for me (my hair is already thin from the first time i had a drastic weightloss a few years ago) then i really don't care

i could be exercising more. i'm so glad we are allowed protein bars now... and i think i don't need to be taking this heart burn medication anymore. i'm scared about taking unnecessary meds.

i've lost 18 lbs since surgery, lost about 12 on the pre-op diet for about a 30 lbs loss since the end of january

haven't found anything i can't eat. boiled eggs don't seem to go down very easy, i have not tried scrambled. the eggs are pretty funny, i used to eat boiled eggs all the time before surgery!

Sometimes slow and steady wins the race!!  But this really isn't a race...you will lose how your body see's fit and you should definitely be happy with that.

I can't do eggs anymore.  I used to be able to...but not anymore!  Go figure!
