Husband moved out Thursday... I need some buddies!

Hang in there! We are all one big family and here for you! I have a 4 year old too but my DH (damn or darling, depending on the day) says I'm stuck with him Yell at us when you need to chat/vent!!! Hell, we're always here

You can count me as a buddy. I am a single mother to a 8 yr old special needs daughter.  I was sleeved in January.

This is really really hard, but I think it will be good.  Our daughter dosen't deserve to grow up with the dynamic between us :-(

He's the one who thinks he should be able to go to work, come home, and park himself in the recliner... period.  He did NOTHING around the house.  There is not one responsibility that I can think of that wasn't mine.  From paying bills, childcare, yard work, laundry, to laying out his clothes.  He was trying to sorta kinda step it up, but it was much to little too late... like picking his child up from daycare once in awhile, or getting his own drink, and the final straw was when he was mad at me for not "appreciating" his efforts and taking him for granted.

There have been much deeper issues as well, verbal abuse, threats of violence, I have long felt that the things I accomplished were inspite of him, it because of him :-(

He is now playing the victim... he never wanted this, what are we doing to our daughter etc.  It is going to be a long few months (who am I kidding, years...) but I am already learning about myself... I have been doing atknis since 3/24 and I have resisted all urges for emotional eating throughout this "experience"

 It sounds like you are making the best choice for you and your daughter. I comment you for being brave enough to bring about positive change in your life. You deserve to be happy, appreciated and respected. We are all here when you need to talk, for the ups and downs and everything in between.

Kanga, any man that doesnt treat his wife like a queen needs a wake up call. It's not the woman's job to do every freakin thing...and any man who believes it is needs a wake up call! They never know what they had til it's gone...maybe he will appreciate u then Good luck hun and u are strong enough to do this  

p.s.  I had my psych eval the other week and when i left i felt like crud, but after talking to everyone here i realized it didn't go so bad... u will do fine, keep ur head up...everyone here on OH are a wonderful support group and are always here for u...luv and huggz

I will send you an inbox message and add you as a buddy so you can vent whenever you need to, Make sure you don't hold it in...You've already won half the battle because ur not depressed and moping around asking "Why me?"
