I cant believe my day has come. Tomorrow at 7:45 am I will be in the midst of being sleeved. I am for the most part calm I do have a few butterflies though. Hopefully everything goes well.
I just cant believe its really happening tomorrow...Any advice or tips that might come in handy I would appreciate them. Thanks

YAY!! I'm so happy for you!!  If you wake up with a drain - don't freak out - it's no biggie!!  Doesn't hurt when it's removed.  Don't be afraid to ask for drugs!! Lol!!  After about 1 week out - I remember questioning why I did it...was a little depressed!  I got over it pretty quick - from what I've read out here it's common.  I am 3 months out now with NO regrets!!!  YAY!!!!  Keep us posted - See you on the losers bench!!!   Hugs!!! Kris

The night before my surgery I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone!! Very surreal... and so were the first few days after surgery.

BEST WISHES!

That's terrific...am sure you'll do great!  Just remember to walk, sip, rest and repeat...the keys to recovery are in those words.  Best wishes for a smooth surgery and speedy recovery.  Take care and give us a post-op update when you can,  Viv

My advice is to keep your eye on the prize.  My preop went so smoothly and I didn't stress about what was about to happen because I was so in the moment with each part and before I knew it I remember talking and then I woke up in my room.  Done.  Just relax and say your prayers for good measure and hang on!  You will do just fine.  I"ll say a prayer for you tonight.  Good luck!
