No you are not alone. But definitely call Dr. Macik. He is also my surgeon and I did mostly clear liquids for almost a month. But I kept him in the loop. I had terrible terrible nausea and he had me go back to the hospital week 4 (after trying 2 anti nausea medicines and a mirad of other things) to run a test (EGD).  He had to open up my pipes - it didn't hurt btw and i felt better almost right away.

Also if you call the office and they don't call you back right away, keep bugging them. I only had one problem with that, but it was when I was the sickest.
