Average weight loss per month

I know everyone is different in losing weight. But I'm trying to get an idea of what the average would be per month. Is 10 lbs about right per month or am I expecting to much? If anyone has there records of months I would love to see them. Thanks...

The first two months combined I lost about 38 lbs.  The 3rd month I lost less than 10 and this past month I lost just over 10.  As of this morning, I am a little over 4 months out and down a total of 58 lbs!.   

fist month 20-30
second month 15-25
third 6-15
fourth 4-6
fifth and so on i would say 2-5
 thats just a good guess from others who have had sugery around me plus mine as well but your right everyone looses diffrent and it varies apon where there start point is. if there out amazeing guys who are up there and drop 300-400 lns they are going to drop rather fast. for those in the 200's still will see a fast drop then a steady decline. i was 286 now 182 at 9 months post op and been jugleing the same 10lbs for over a month my weight offically tapering off and skin removeal is in my very near future.....

I would definitely agree with the "everyone is different" statement,  but I just figured out my monthly losses for the first time this morning, and since you asked....

There are some rounding differences, so the total isn't exactly what I've lost so far, but it's pretty close.  I hope this helps!

I'm 5'10"

8-10 and i'm in my 3rd month. slow and steady wins the race, so i'm pretty pleased. i'm losing about 2lbs a week.

You can see mine in my siggy :) This month will be over in 6 days and I've lost about 7lbs for this one.

I think 10lbs per month is a reasonable expectation, but everyone is really different. Here is mine so far:

Pre-op = 0
Month 1= 24.2
Month 2 = 12.8
Month 3 = 10.4
Month 4 = 10.8

Am losing 3.5 pounds per week but everyone is different.

In a month I've lost about 30 lbs!!! That includes my 1 week pre op diet!!!

Here's my numbers - I started at 299lbs and today am at 167 just 13 1/2 months after surgery :

Month 14 -8 Reached GOAL (includes 5lbs lost due to plastic surgery)
