NSV - at the GYM

So I'm walking in the gym today at lunch and the lady behind the counter says "I've been thinking about you."  I don't know her that well so I'm like..really??  She says she considers me a success story and wants to put me in the Athletic Club's Newletter.  She had noticed how good I was looking. totally embarassing, but great too.  She wanted me to email her before pictures and measurements if I had them.  Well she didn't know what she was asking for because she didn't know I had surgery.  (of course I have that info)

So when I emailed it to her, I told her I had surgery and put a link to exactly which kind I had along with my one year before and after pictures and numbers.  Can't wait to see her tomorrow.  At a little over a year out, I don't get as many NSV's, so this was is really making my day.

Good for you.  Your journey will be a great inspiration to many others at the gym.  Way to go!!!

That's pretty cool,  I hope she and others in the gym don't think you took the easy way out.  That is what a lot of the gym people think...........good luck though,  I think you have done great and anyone who does it our way certainly didn't take the easy way out.

I don't care what people think.  I don't know anyone and it wouldn't matter if I did.  If I can inspire and/or inform one person that is struggling or considering surgery, then I'm fine with that.
