Lucy -- let me tell you that you could not have selected a better surgeon than Dr. A. He truly gives a damn about his patients. I've never paged him and not received a call back within an hour ... typically 20-30 mins (whatever time of night). He has been my saving grace throughout this entire (very tough) journey. He will NEVER cut you loose or leave your side. You are in excellent hands with Averbach.
Thanks so much - very reassuring for me as a pre-op! I really have felt good about my decisions to go with the VSG and with Dr. A.
