I'm black and I wasn't offended.  It's just like when I say the white guy or the white chick when we're describing people.

I have seen some things posted on some sites that were racist but this just wasn't one of them, IMO.

 
Maybe it's because.......

- I live, work and base out of San Fran. My crews are always a mixture of gender, races, cultures, sexual orientations.....

- I'm Japanese/American......Asians seem to be the neutral tone in the black white thing.... seems I've had easy acceptance with anybody......

- Both my parents lived in the day when there were signs in windows that said "No Japs Allowed"

- Both my parents were in internment camps.... US citizens locked up by the US Government. They were told it was for there own protection....... But why were the guns in the towers pointing in?

- My dad was a dual US ARMY vet....WWll and Korean....Proud member of the 442nd combat battalion an all Japanese American company team sent on suicide missions..... sometimes losing hundreds of men to save a few (white, black, hispanic) American solders.

My parents made sacrifices to make me a better Person/American, free of prejudging color, race creed and even alliterative orientations. When they had every reason to be bitter and have hate.

I really can't remember where I was going with this...... I think maybe I am a bit confused....

What are you supposed to call young black,  gold tooth rapper dudes selling CD's that are hitting on pretty white woman at the mall???? Please learn me.....

I guess that makes me the perverted Asian dude at the mall with a camera around his neck trying to sell pretty single woman a Sony CD player so they can play the CD's they bought of the gold tooth black dudes..... Oh..... and I'm also the Asian pervert at the mall trying to sell used panties that fall off of white, black, latina, asian chicks that have had bariatric surgery....... Naw that's a lie....I wouldn't sell em !!!!

I have met Jen in real life.......And one of the things I get from her is that she has huge range when it come to acceptance and tolerance of people. Hey there are photos of her dancing with an Indian guy on one side and a Japanese dude on the other!

To the ones offended by her comments..... I don't want to discount your feeling in any way. My skin is not white either and I know we all have our own boundaries. Although Jen may have pushed it a little on a public forum..... I can certainly assure you that she is good people and would be the first person to help ANYBODY in need......
