Does anyone know of a FUN, WLS support group in Central Ohio? Are there many peeps on here from Central Ohio? I'm thinking of starting a walking/hiking group if I can't find one. Anyone interested?

I guess OSU's bariatric clinic has one, but they are a meeting kinda group and I'm wanting something fun!! What part of Southern Ohio are you in? I have family in Piketon and Oak Hill.

Hi there, Jenijeni. I live in Cardington (Morrow county) just North of Columbus. I had my surgery in Cinci so no support group for me either.

There are a few others in our area...Judith (she used to post more often) and someone from Powell (Kelly?). It would be great if we could all get together sometime.

Directly west- great park! Has a nice lake, trails (most short, a couple moderate), archery range.. My husband & I stayed at the lodge one night and just bummed around and hiked.. lots of cool mushrooms grow in that park, in the right season of course.
We just got gifted a couple bows, so archery is on the agenda next time we go!
