What to do about constipation?
On full liquids I didn't go much either- every 4 daysish.. nothing in, nothing out!
But, Miralax is gentle, tasteless and works very well for me. I started with a dose a day, then ended up only needing a tsp every other day or so. I also use 2 tsp of benefiber as well, every day.
Miralax is not habit forming, and will not give you the runs. It really works well, and you can take it for life if needed.

I had this prob a few days ago. I tried to self medicate with milk of mag and colase and nothing! I called my doc after three days of trying to do it myself and he said to stop the milk of mag and colase and just do a fleets enema. Worked after a minute and the next day I was down 3 pounds!!! Hallelujah!!!
Good luck!

While on liquids, miralax worked well for me and was pretty gentle too.
These days I do a combination of things:
Fiber tablest 3x day
1 colace (stool softener, not a laxative, 1x day)
2 Tbsp chia seeds, made into a sort of pudding with 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, + sweetener, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg to taste) (Just mix it up and let it chill in fridge for about 30 minutes)
When all else fails - back to the miralax
