Blah I cannot get comfy at all sleeping. I suppose part of it is I am at the hotel, not at home, but I am a tummy sleeper and this sleeping on my back is not working. The doctor said I could sleep on my side but thats not comfy either. Maybe I can sleep on the plane? *sigh*

Im right there with you.  I also sleep on my tummy and havent been able to get comfy in a bed.  My hubby works nights so Ive taken to sleeping in the recliner for the 3 weeks since surgery.  Hope it gets better.

I do understand your pain. I rented a recliner and slept in it mostly after surgery.

It took me 3-4 weeks before I could sleep comfortably on my sides.  Just a fun side effect from surgery.  This too shall pass.

Last night was my first night out of the hospital and I also found it uncomfortable to sleep.  My recliner hurt my back so I took the long hike upstairs to bed.  My husband made a sort of slope for me to sleep on by tiering three pillows up.  That got me through the night, but i was wide awake at 6:30 asking to go back to the recliner (my butt had become numb).  I guess we just have to try a few things that may work for us.

I'm a side sleeper, which was impossible for about 2 weeks due to muscle pulling feelings.. I had to put our couch cushions under the head of my bed to prop it up so I was sleeping in a semi-elevated position. Kept me from trying to roll over. Sleeping flat was sore too, but it passes soon enough!

I'm a side sleeper and slept on my side right out of recovery. I didn't have a drain - don't know if that makes a difference or not.
