one week out
Well, I gotta be honest that surgery was painful...I had a great deal of nausea and therefore a great deal of pain. I stayed two nights and came home on Wednesday. I'm not really hungry but stomach growls alot, is that normal? I have two more weeks of liquids. I am also having some diarehea...it is bright reddish orange, is that normal? Please tell me the incision where they removed my stomach won't remain concave it is gross. LOL
Of course, I have friends that are like "was it worth it" blah, blah, blah. Friends I thought would be more supportive and took off the week to help me who DIDN"T......sometimes, I don't understand people. I guess, I got my feelings hurt a bit by this one friend, but I can't let it get me down. She is also overweight and maybe she has a case of sour grapes.
I am gonna be okay. I guess I am a little depressed and wondering if I am ever gonna eat again. LOL
Overall, I am on the mend...here's to a great future....

Are you taking an acid reducer? My stomach made noises too. As far as having the trots... liquids in = liquids out. Sounds like you need to smack your friends. Surround yourself with positive people. No room in this journey for negative feedback... we give ourselves enough of that.
You're in for a wonderful ride. You WILL eat again. And you WILL be able to enjoy it. It's just a matter of getting yourself healed up first.
Get your liquid protein & water in. Take an acid reducer. Keep moving. PLAN, PLAN, PLAN... meals, exercise, goals. Set yourself up for success! Take care & best of luck on this journey.

Current weight: 170 lbs.
Once I reach goal, this cow will be killed & eaten... 2 ounces at a time.
Total includes 56 lbs. lost on 2-month low carb pre-op diet. Start date 9/13/10.
I am 2 weeks out and my #2 is still an odd, orangish color.
Oh, and my concavity is almost completely gone now :) It's only a teeny, weeny dent now, not a big dent anymore...
