feel....now that YOU are THIN/NER?    Now..save the martyr **** or the 'proper thing to do'
Im TALKING REALITY HERE!!

I mean MY hypocrisy only goes so far too!  I would have to say NO WAY!  to sex and dating...but sure to "friend" only.

No way honest answer I don't want my own health issues why I had wls sure doin't need a mans problems.P.S.MY hubby is 6'5 starting weight 306 now 271 he is using the lean shake I did pr-op with and I had to go buy him somemore and he is closer to goal 250 then I am.He luvs to tell me will power works and see no staples.I say yeah right you needed 56lbs I needed a whole lot more lol .He was very supportive of my surgery he just likes to rile me!!!  Oh friend is okay just dont want to sleep with them lol

Before I was sleeved I never was interested in heavy men. I just havent been attracted to an overweight man yet. My first husband of 17 yrs was sculpted body builder and my second husband of 10 yrs isnt "sculpted" but he is 6'1" 185 lbs. He has about a 1" overhang at age 42. lol. Had I been attracted to a heavyset man I think the sex woulda sucked because of MY being overweight our bellies woulda been touchin before anything else. Now after weightloss surgery, if/when I'm ever thin I dont expect my tastes in men to change.

I'm with you.  Not proud of my thinking... but you wanted honesty.

That is an excellent question... Honestly, since I'm STILL fat, it's kinda hard to say. Right NOW, I wouldn't want to date someone my size or bigger because, well, let's face it, I'M BIG ENOUGH ON MY OWN! LOL But after I lose the weight, a part of me MAY give a big guy a chance because I know what it feels like to be over looked because of weight...AND I AM A WONDERFUL PERSON!!  LOL And who knows, maybe my story would motivate him to seek help like I did!

Bottom line, depending on the situation and if there is chemistry, I'd seriously consider it. But I'd have to like him...regardless of size. I know many handsome and FINE men who are complete ******** so size, shape, height...doesn't matter as much as what's on the inside. And that's not martyrdom, that's my reality!

PS. I've never been attracted to real skinny or small men. Plus, I've run into some fairly handsome big guys! Depends on how he carries it. Shoot, a big, strong, strapping guy of about 250-280 who can lift!?!?! I can just imagine.... (Ok, I'm stopping now.... My thoughts just ran WAY past PG-13)

LMBO @ Sunkissed, I agree with you, and share your point of view.  For me it depends on the connection we have and the chemistry, not his size.

I'll make sure i don't get too skinny for ya....ha ha!

My sister, who had WLS a few years ago, ran into this exact situation when she and an old high school friend reconnected long distance. When they finally met up and she realized just how MO he was she ended it. Like a PP said, she had taken steps to get herself healthy and didn't want to end up taking care of him in the very near future.

I'm married so this isn't an issue for me, but i am laughing to myself thinking that if I weren't the question would be, "who would date a woman with eight kids?" LOL! I have to wonder if that might be a bigger issue than weight!
