myfitnesspal.com is easy to use. I can access it from my computer or my iphone or ipad and it is free

I'm adding another vote for myfitnesspal.com.

I started out using the Daily Plate and gave up on it. Although it had lots of features myfitnesspal.com does not, in the two weeks I used the site their "add a food" to the database feature was out of order while they were ugrading (so I couldn't enter any foods that weren't already in their database) and I encountered technical issues a few times (I would need to enter a food up to five times sometimes before it would display). I'm a techie person and was crazy with how badly their site was programmed.

If the Daily Plate fixes their issues after their upgrade I may go back for the extra features but for now I'm satisfied that myfitnesspal.com is meeting my needs.

Okay... checked in to my fittness pal first and I do love it!!!

Thanks!!!

Only thing... can I change my projected goals?  Not a biggie, but I'm 63 grams over what they want me to ahve for protien, and I have 174g of carbs left according to them :-)  (I'm also 26 grams over for fat...)

I'm pre-op and doing Atkins :-)

Thanks!!!!

yes, go into the goals area and edit them....don't use the guided choice.
You'll find the goals under tools.

Wishing you all the best, Carol

I use fatsecret.com and LOVE it!  Easy to use, free phone app, barcode scanner, weight, exercise, calorie, carb, fat, protein tracker...very useful!

Myfitnesspal.com has helped me so much to easily track both my nutrition and exercise that are vital to my success.  Highly rec. it as a great tool - but one caution - you've got to be religiously honest with yourself and your computer to really benefit from the logging -  I never lie to my computer the way I used to lie to myself about how much I was eating/drinking or how little I was exercising.  Used honestly and regularly, it will work well for you.  Good luck.

myfitnesspal is GREAT! I haven't had to enter anything and boy can you see what you're really consuming.  I'm getting in more calories than I thought.

Thanks for the recommendations everyone!
