Thinking it's gallbladder. Please send non-pain vibes my way
Brownblonde-
Don't mean to scare you but get the gall bladder removed. My cousin had gall bladder problems that went undiagnosed until she ended up with pancreatitis which is even more painful. I spent several days tending to her in the hospital until they got her stable enough for surgery. Today she's diabetic as a result fo the pancreatic damage.
I be thinking of you and hoping that the bland and low fat diet will help it settle down. The doc's right to be checking the pancreas and liver to be on the safe side. I would assume that they will also do some blood work to check your enzymes.
Sorry you're not feeling well and wishing for an improvement for you.

So sorry you are in pain. I know when my gallbladder was acting up, my pain was right smack dab in the center, under my ribcage. I ignored a couple of the attacks until one sent me to my knees. I was quite willing to undergo surgery in hopes of pain relief. I also was scoped (ercp) prior to removal to get the stones out of the duct. All in all, the surgery was an easy recovery...even went to work for a few hours the next day (although I don't recommend that now
)
Hoping this will pass and you to be pain free!
