Question, I know that with other WLS when people loose a massive amount of weight they have to get nipped and tuck, Does that hold true for people who've had VSG?

It holds true regardless of how you lose it.. I lost it dieting the first time in my early 20's, had lose skin all over.. if it's going to be there, it's going to be there.

I think it depends on a LOT of factors. But it doesn't matter what type of surgery you have, it's the weight loss itself that counts. However, there are some things that will most likely leave you with more skin than others.....obviously, the more your skin has been stretched by the weight will affect it, but also smoking, being older (the skin looses elasticsity (sp? sorry) as we get older) both affect how much the skin "snaps back" as well. My personal opinion is that exercise helps some with this, because you're "filling out" the extra skin with lean muscle, but again, just my opinion.

I am in the middle of realizing not everything will be as I want it even if I am no longer obese..after weightloss sometimes surgery is the only real "fix"

Yep.  100 pounds lost is 100 pounds lost no matter how it came off.  I've had my first round of plastics already.
