1 Year: Surgiversary!
You look absolutely fabulous and have done an awesome job! I am so glad that you are young and are going to enjoy your youth more now than you were before... and I hope you live life to the fullest!
I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!
"People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within." - Ramona L. Anderson
Congratulations! You look great. I am coming up on my one year anniversary (july 9th) and am hoping to hit my goal of 100lbs. Right now i'm at 80lbs down and literally have been on this 5 pound back and forth for a few months...it's kind of crazy.
It looks like you really did a great job working out and i'm wondering what your "routine" was and if you could shed some light on your activity and maybe your carb, calories, protein per day. I have been very fortunate with my weight loss to date, but really want to hit this year strong. You are an inspiration with the great tummy video! :)
Congratulations again!

As far as working out-- I really didn't do much of anything in the way of exercise until about 3 months post-op. And by exercise-- I mean the bare minimum: walking around campus to class.
By about 7 months post op I started going to the gym, but very sparingly.
8 or 9 months post op I started going regularly--3 or 4 times a week- 45 minutes on the elliptical high intensity. I would do about 5 miles in the 45 minutes.
Right now I am not in school and cannot afford to waste money driving to the gym. School starts back on the 6th and I will start to hit the gym HARD. When I get going, I get motivated and hit the gym pretty hard.
As far as eating.. to be honest I have been slipping recently but usually I stick to around 900-1000 NET calories. If I work out about 500 calories, I usually eat around 1200-1300. If I don't work out, I eat around 1000 calories.
Secondly, I eat what I like. I also eat until about a bite before I get full. I feel better and more full when I eat protein, so I usally eat a protien-rich lunch and dinner (part of a chicken breast with a veggie side) but I hate eating protein for breakfast. I eat instanst oatmeal with a T peanut butter.
If I do protein, it's the special K protein water mix that tastes like pink lemonaid. I spent too many years on protein shake diets. I refuse.
