4 months out with Pics *****es

I can't even believe that its already been 4 months since my glorious VSG and I became fast friends. I loved my little bitty sleeve from day one and never felt even a pinch of buyer’s remorse. I would say a lil gas pain was the height of my post op discomfort. I behave for the most part and eat mostly protein based foods, that’s not to say that I haven't have had the occasional handful of potato chips, slice of cake, sliver of pizza, or Taco Bravo taco ( that I wish I could eat all of) but these things are rare and now and an oddity, not the norm. I get out and walk here and there and LOVE LOVE LOVE my kettle bell and resistance band!!! I have thought of joining a gym but don’t have time right now to go enough to make it worth my money. I wish I could say that this 61 pound loss has profoundly changed who I am as a person but it has not. I am more comfortable in my skin, I love wearing **** that was off limits before. I love walking past Lane Bryant and giving it the finger for all the years of ****** up overpriced outfits those *****es sold me. But at the end of the day other than being super excited about my new body and the way **** fits my life is the same. I have come to the realization that perhaps I never let my weight affect me too much; maybe if I had I would have taken the weight off sooner. I know its vein, I know we all "do this for our health" but well I am a lair... and well 99% of my motivation was vanity based. I’m glad Ill live longer, unless I’m randomly taken out by a semi-truck, but mostly I’m thrilled to be wearing size 9 jeans and able to shop in the "normal" section. I have not had tons of hair loss as of yet but it is thinner from the weight I lost before surgery. I am now trying to figure out exactly how I am going to stop the weight loss. I know I don’t want to go under 140 under any cir****tances as I don’t want to have to do a boob job so I am going to curtailing the loss soon. I was 229 the morning of surgery and am 168 today. I have a tummy tuck and back and flank lipo scheduled for July 11th and hope to be somewhere between 155 and 160 by then and to not lose anymore after the TT (other than whatever weight loss that includes) I know its early for a tummy tuck but we are in a bind financially and it’s now or never so I’ll take now. Both of my surgeons said there was no reason to wait once I was at goal and I’m hoping to be there by then. I am going out now more than ever and enjoying life. I feel like women treated me the same when I was heavy as they do now but men... well not so much. I am amazed at how much more forward they are. Not in a bad way but just the compliments from total strangers is new and nice! I’ve always been pretty flirty but I feel like a whole new world has opened up to me. Granted they are all probably douche bags as they would not have talked to me 6 months ago... but they may as well pay for the mistake with a drink, right? So here are my 4 month pics... I went to Outback with my sis and we split a 10oz rib eye, mashed potatoes and salad. I ate 4 bites of salad about 2oz of steak and 5 bites of potatoes.  We then moved onto good old Mountain Charley’s for drinks and more drinks and then a few more and some dancing! Love my Sleeve.... I shall call her Roxy... cause she’s kinda foxy!
If you are considering the VSG go for it! This is the best thing I have ever done for myself!

You worked that sleeve!  What an inspiration!  One thing I notice from the before and after pics on OH, being thin doesn't automatcially give you fashion sense. So good for you!!
