Hi All,
I am looking for some info on Phase 4. My surgeon has not let me know a thing about this phase. Today makes 6 weeks since surgery. Getting a hold of the Dr's office is like pulling teeth. I would like to now by now about exercing, foods and more.
Thank You
God Bless
Evie

Sorry Evie, but since every doc has their own plan- it may be hard for someone to give you specifics.. My doc doesn't even call them phases..

I know that at 6 weeks I was fully cleared for all foods I could tolerate and exercises, if I recall- just about anything but heavy weight lifting.

I also unfortunately don't have much advice that I can share with you.

Have you tried emailing the office? I'd cross-email the MD, RN and Nutritionist and see who all sends you a reply.

Good luck!

Hi Evie,

Congrats on your progress and for the 6 week milestone.  My "phase 4" was being cleared for a full diet (still emphasis on high protein & low carb choices) but adding fresh veggies, some fruit, a couple of whole grain choices every now and then.  I was also cleared for exercise, was told I could do anything I could tolerate for exercise at that point and was encourage to seek aerobic activity 4-5 times a week.  For me this was the begining of the "new normal".

You're gonna do great!!!!

Hugs,

Lala
