Congrats!!! Glad everything went well for you.. I am so not looking forward to the leak test the day after.. YUCKKK!!

You are lucky you got to have something to drink the day of the surgery. I was told I can not have anything to drink that day or night..the doctor and the nurse said it was to rest our stomach, from the surgery...

LOL..

I have heard that a lot about the c section and this surgery.. I am glad I had a c section and know what is involved in that..

Congrats again, I am happy everything went great for you, and like Lucy said sip,walk, rest repeat..

Susan, you are getting so close to your time! Yes, I was given something to drink, but I only drank maybe 3 oz in an 8 hour period! I was sssooo thirsty, but it just didn't feel like it was going to fit down there. I definitely didn't want to throw up, so I kept it VERY small amounts. I put the water in my mouth and swished it around to get some relief of the dryness. That would help for a little while.
