So scared!... Something is wrong!

I am feeling so scared right now. Just feels like something isn't right. My upper left side (not where any incensions are) has been in pain for days and now my chest and shoulder (all on the left side) are hurting. It get worse as the days go by.
A few days ago I had an issue with pain coming from that Big incension on the lower left stomach area. I keep getting fevers that come and go. When I begin to feel weak and sickly (you know when you kinda just feel like you're feverish?... ), I'll take the liq pain and fever reducer that the dr gave me and have cold sweats. The kind that you had when you were a kid when the rx was knocking the fever out of you.
The last thing I want to do is wine and complain, but I feel like something is wrong. Could it just be me?

You've called your dr about these symptoms right? If not, you need to.

you do need to speak with, and probably be seen by a doctor. Make sure he/she knows that you have a recent partial gastrectomy and insist that you be checked to rule out a leak. Better safe than sorry.

Please call your doctor asap just to be sure there are no problems. And even if there is something you certainly want to catch it very early. I'll be thinking of you.

My surgeon's discharge instructions say to call him or go to the ER if I run a fever, have chills and/or pain that isn't relieved by the drugs.  I didn't experience anything like what you're describing (I'm 3 weeks out).  It sounds like you need to get in touch with a medical professional or go to the ER... please do!

Call your doctor now. Describe exactly what you feel. do not be "brave" be honest. Be direct. Or go to the ER.

What does your doctor say?  You need medical attention ASAP.
