I may not be down a size yet... but man my pants are getting longer!

Prior to surgery, most of my clothes were getting tight- especially the non elastic banded ones!

So, even though I've lost almost 40 pounds, I'm not really down a size yet.  However, I've noticed that my shirts and pants are longer :)  Better than nothing, right?

Isn't that funny how that works. I noticed that with my pants.. All of the sudden they are dragging on the ground.. I noticed my shoes have gotten a little sloppy too :)

My pants drag on the ground to. My shoes went down a size and my long sleeves hang over my hands why???. it is so strange my husband looked at me the other day and said I need to dress in petite I have never dressed in a petite pants before. But I can say I love this feeling of getting smaller.
My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

I'm only 5'2" and could never wear "petite" clothing even though my inseam is only 29". I weighed 270 was pushing a size 24W, wearing 22W pants in regular length because I was so round. I noticed all my shirts getting longer as the inches up top went down, and the pants getting longer even though they were still snug around the waist with 40-50lbs lost.

Now at 125lbs, if I buy regular length pants I have to wear heels. . It's a tragedy, NOT ! ! ! I love wearing 3-4 inch heels to accommodate the length of my skinny jeans HA.

Those sizes will start dropping, and you'll be amazed at all the changes. Keep rockin' your sleeve.

Funny that you posted this, 'cause I haven't lost a size yet either, but I just noticed yesterday that my 16W pants aren't high waters anymore! They actually look like they fit okay now. I must have been squeezing my ass in these 16's! Yay for pants that sorta fit!

I had the same thing, lost a lot- fit into the same pants (granted they were TIGHT before.. I just was too stubborn to buy a size up) but when I sat down, the hem was still below my ankle and wasn't riding up! Amazing how well clothes start to fit when you lose the poof!

My tees that were tight around the tummy are now my sleep shirts and almost cover the bottom of my butt ;)

Good to hear that I'm not alone :)

My favorite new hobby is trying on all of the stuff in my current size that didn't used to fit....  Only 1 3X shirt is still not fitting me to my liking...  All of my other shirts/pants in my current size fit, or are getting a little baggy.

I am very excited to start moving on to my clothes the next size down... I have pretty much a full wardrobe of shirts and dresses in my storage closet, going down to size 18...
