I am holding my own and at a stall. I am not getting enough protein in because I am having some issues with my teeth. Not surgery related. I am losing inches though.

I am doing pretty good! I started at 239.8 and this morning was 172.8 - total of 67lbs lost. I have anther 18 to go to reach my goal of 155. Some friends have said that I can stop losing now - but I know I have more to lose - still losing about 1.5-2 pounds per week - Hope it continues.

I need to focus on getting more protein in - I am working out with a trainer 3x per week and it helping me tone. My tummy is most flabby and then arms. I am 5"8" so my current BMI is 26.2 - still overweight - but working my way to "normal"!

I love my sleeve - have had no complications or issues. Most food sits well in my sleeve - really have not had any issues eating. HAIR - now that is another issue - hope the hair loss stops soon. I had my hair cut short this afternoon - hopefully this is the shortest I have to go. Most people say it starts coming back at aroung 6 months..... hopefully that is true!

Stay focused fellow January sleevers - this is a marathon not a race!

Boy, the average weight loss for us January sleevers seems to be about the same---also most of us are hitting difficult stalls.  It gives me much hope to see that we are all in the boat together and at about the same place.  Everytime I go and read a post from people a year out, they all seem to have lost well over 100-150 pounds.  Right now that does just not seem possible for me, yet we are only just approaching the 6 month mark soon.  Patience is something that has to be cultivated as much as learning to drink 64 ounces of water, or eating protein first, etc.  I wish I could take a patience pill.  When I was thinking about my stalls today, I made myself laugh---I told myself that I sure did not need to learn any "maintenance" skills, as I feel I am in maintenance now.  Not losing or gaining for weeks at a time is surely maintenance, so I got this particular skill down pat!  We January sleevers must check in with each other every month--it really lifts my spirits.  We are probably entering a rather tough spot--the 6 month mark and the slow-down even further in our weight loss.  Plus being right smack in the middle of the hair loss cycle is rough too.  But just keep doing what we know is right and it will pay off.

I feel the same way! When I read posts of people who are a year out - it makes me think maybe that won't be me.  I want it to sooooo bad.  My scale hasn't moved in over 2 weeks.  I hope this weekend brings a change for us!! I am not getting on the scale till Monday!

Tommorrow my sleeve will be 5 months old!  I've lost 50 lbs post-op, 78 all together.  I started at 286 and am now 208.  I just can't seem to lose lately so I'm trying to adjust my diet, upping protein and exercise.  I'm down from a 28 to some 16s, mostly 18s.

I can eat about 1/2 cup of food.  Calories average 800.  I almost always have a protein shake for breakfast, light lunch, protein and veggies for dinner.
