Positive Stress Test

I just got a call from my cardiologist saying that I had a positive stress test. I looked it up and I guess that you're supposed to get a negative stress test result. My doc said that it was porbably a false positive because I got the stress test without contrast or whatever so now I have to go back and get a stress test echocardiogram. Did this happen with anyone else?

yes. Had a second non-stress nuclear test, then an echo. All was well. Either way, you want any heart related issues dealt with before you have major surgery. I thought of it as "look at how healthy I will be, they have examined every darned moving part !!!"

Good luck !
