Is VSG a lot like getting your gallbladder out, I mean, as far as pain goes? I had mine out and it wasnt all that bad.

can't compare as I had my gb out and VSG done at the same time, but the pain was a breeze. The gas from being blown up during the surgery was worse than the incision or surgery pain. It was all easy in my honest opinion

This was worse than GB removal for me but maybe it's just that it's been so long since the GB that I don't remember how bad it was

Have not had my GB out but had minimal pain with my sleeve ( 3 on the 10 scale) and was gone in two days. Have had more discomfort going to the dentist than this surgery.
