4 months out and loving my sleeve. (Pics)
Hi everyone! Just checking in to say that I am 4 months out and loving my sleeve. I am 50 lbs down from surgery date weight of 278 and 69 lbs down from all highest weight, 297. Many days me and McSleevie battle about what is acceptable and what is not. Often McSleevie wins. I bow down because I certainly love the results from following the rules. This journey has been enlightening from both physical and mental standpoint. I am so open to new things. Things I didn’t think I would ever be able to do, I am doing and loving it. The journey of self discovery is so GRAND!
I hope the post ops are enjoying their journey as well. I also wish the pre ops good luck with their journey. There will be good and bad days. A great attitude has been key for me overcoming the down days. I recommend that to anyone.
I have added pics below. The first two are pre ops of me with daughter and just me. The next one was taken in May, the day before participating in my first 5k. The next two were taken when i hit the 50lb mark. Then the last one was taken yesterday. I am trying a new hair do for the woman that is emerging from within. I call this alter Mary because when I view the pic all I see is my Mom. LOL
Thanks for allowing me to share my journey with you.
